Andrea Cristofolini is born in Catania on January
13th, 1965.
He received the Degree in Nuclear
Engineering at the University of Bologna in 1991, discussing
a thesis on the numerical models of the electrodynamics of a MHD
generator.
He spent a research period at the MSA, Butte,
Montana, USA (January '94-May '94), to perform an optimization of
the MHD numerical model developed during his
Doctorate.
He
discussed the Ph.D. Thesis in Electrical Engineering on the
numerical modeling of an MHD linear generator in
1995.
Since July 1995, he is Researcher at the Department of
Electrical Engineering of the University of
Bologna.
Since November 2002, he is Professor at the
Department of Electrical Engineering of the University of
Bologna.
