I am a PhD student in Cultural and Environmental Heritage at the University of Bologna. My research lies at the intersection of anthropology, science and technology studies (S&TS), and energy humanities, with a focus on ecological transitions. I currently work within the EU-funded NET-Fuels project, where I conduct an S&TS-informed description of the project’s socio-technical-ecological assemblage, governance structures, and valuation practices, as well as the examination of its potential affordances and impacts. Combining qualitative methods, including participant observation and interviews, with quantitative approaches, such as systematic literature reviews, my work examines how onto-epistemological and socio-technical arrangements co-produce specific transition pathways. In 2023, I was awarded a research fellowship within the IMPACT HAU project to investigate the factors limiting public engagement in Ravenna’s energy transition.
