A.C. is Associate Professor at the University of Bologna, Department of Classical Philology and Italian Studies, since April 2018, performing research in the field of Italian Literature. His research interests lie particularly in the literature of the Venetian Counter-Reformation (above all Celio Magno and Domenico Venier's salon), the Academy of the Arcadia, Ugo Foscolo, Giacomo Leopardi, Giovanni Pascoli, the Commissione per i Testi di lingua of Bologna. His research works are currently focusing on Arcadian poetry, at the turn of seventeenth and eighteenth century.
