The main areas of research concern the treatment of thoracic malignancies and the development of new therapeutic strategies and new anti-cancer agents for the treatment of solid tumors (mainly thoracic, gastro-intestinal and genito-urinaly tumors). Our group is involved in several prospective phase I-III trials, both profit and no-profit, and in translational research studies aimed at identifying novel biological-molecular predictive and prognostic factors for the outcome of new anti-cancer agents.
