Andi Duqi is currently Associate Professor of Banking at the University of Bologna. From 2013 to 2018 he was appointed as Assistant Professor of Banking and Finance at the University of Sharjah, United Arab Emirates lecturing several courses such as Financial Markets and Institutions, Risk Management, Banking Operations Management, International Financial Management, Corporate Finance. From 2012 to 2013 he was a post-doc researcher at the University of Bologna and also a visiting researcher at Bangor University, UK.
His research and publications are related to banking performance, dividend policy, relationship lending, banking competition, banking efficiency, microfinance, social impact finance, and market pricing of R&D.
Andi Duqi has a Ph.D in Financial Markets and Intermediaries from University of Bologna obtained in 2012. In the past he was also teaching assistant of various courses at this University, such as Economics of Financial Intermediation, Economics of Banking Institutions or Economics of Financial Markets.
He is a referee for several academic journals such as International Business Review, European Journal of Finance, Journal of Banking and Finance, International Journal of Economics and Finance
