Antonio Maria D'Altri has been Associate Professor of Mechanics of Solids and Structures at the University of Bologna since 2025.
In 2026, he obtained the National Scientific Qualification as Full Professor in the Italian higher education system for the disciplinary field of 08/B2 - Structural mechanics.
From 2024 to 2026, he served as Co-Chair of the ECCOMAS Young Investigators Committee (EYIC).
From 2022 to 2025 he was Senior Assistant professor at the University of Bologna. During the same period, he was a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Individual Fellow (Global Fellowship) for the HOLAHERIS project (269 k€) - "A holistic structural analysis method for cultural heritage structures conservation".
Form 2019 to 2021, he worked as Postdoc Research Fellow at the University of Bologna.
In 2019, he obtained his PhD in Structural Mechanics (ICAR/08) from the University of Bologna with the thesis "Advances in computational analysis of masonry structures".
