November 2024 - Ph.D. student in the Storie, Culture e Politiche del Globale (40th cycle) Ph.D. course at the Faculty of History, Cultures and Civilisations of the University of Bologna. His research interests pertain to certain aspects of social, religious, and food history. The temporary title of his current Ph.D. project is: The coffee chain and interconfessional mingling in the Mediterranean: the case of Livorno and the Grand Duchy of Tuscany in the Italian Early Modern Context. Supervisor: professor Cristiana Facchini.

Formazione

2024 - MA degree in Historical and Oriental Sciences (LM-84 Oriental History curriculum) at the University of Bologna. Graduated with 110L/110 on 02/07/2024. Title of the MA thesis in Oriental Studies: Coffee between the Ottoman Empire and Livorno: Jurisprudence, Rituality, and Exchanges in Early ModernitySupervisor: Professor Caterina Bori. Co-supervisor: Professor Chiara Petrolini.

2021 - BA in History (L-42) at the University of Florence. Graduated with 110/110 on 18/10/2021. Title of the BA dissertation: The Bond between Political and Religious Power in Islamic Iran from the 12th to the 15th century. Supervisor: Professor Isabella Gagliardi. Co-supervisor: Professor Francesco Salvestrini.
