Alessia Rocco
A registered Information Engineer at the Ravenna Engineering Board (Section A), she earned her Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and Computer Science from the Alma Mater Studiorum – University of Bologna in 2020, before completing her Master's Degree in Engineering at the same institution in 2023. During her Master's programme, she spent a period of international study at Stockholm University, where she attended Computer Science courses from September 2021 to February 2022.
Education
After graduating from the Torricelli-Ballardini Scientific Lyceum in Faenza in 2017, she obtained her Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and Computer Science from the University of Bologna in 2020. She went on to complete her Master's Degree in Engineering in 2023, which included an international exchange period at Stockholm University.
Professional Career
She began her career in the technology sector in 2020 as a Software Developer at VIBRE (Cesena), where she worked on the development of a React-based WebApp. In September 2022 she joined BMI Leisure (Geel, Belgium), initially as an Internship Trainee, before moving into the role of Junior Software Engineer from January to November 2023, and subsequently taking on the position of Junior Data Analyst from March 2023 onwards, a role she continues to hold. Since March 2024 she has also been registered as a Poll Worker (Scrutineer) at the Municipality of Faenza.
Other Activities
In June 2022 she participated as a student tutor in the Ragazze Digitali project (2022 edition), promoted by ART-ER, based in Cesena. In April 2022 she worked as an interpreter for Consolo Produzioni in San Marino. Earlier in her career, she took part in a volunteering experience as part of the "Lavori in Corso" project in 2015.
