Alessia Legnani Annichini

Full Professor of History of Medieval and Modern Law, she teaches History of Medieval and Modern Law, Ius commune and History of Modern and Contemporary Law in Bologna. Her researches – resulted in monographies and essays – are focused on some perspectives of substantial (commercial brokers) and processual (the Bolognese Mercanzia and bankruptcy procedure) ius mercatorum; of fraud in liberal Italy and of the legal profession in the ‘800. At present she deals with the History of Bolognese juridical school between the XIXth and the XXth century and with maritime insurance in the Modern Age.
