1990 – Winner of the scholarship held by the National Research
Council (contract No. 201.06.22); the line of research studies are
based on the evaluation of land resources, to be held at the
Institute of Agricultural Estimate and Surveying Accounting
University in Bologna.
1991-1994 – Winner of the competition for admission to PhD Course
of University of Padova in "Economics and management of rural
areas", 6th cycle.
1994 – Winner of the public competition for university researcher
in the group of disciplines G01X of Agricultural Sciences,
University of Bologna.
1995 – He takes his duties at the Institute ofRural Estimateand
Accounting at the University of Bologna in quality of
researcher.
In November, he earned the title of PhD in "Economics and
management of rural areas".
1996 - He obtains the prize of Agricultural Research in Pesaro with
the work: "Multicriteria evaluation of land management: an analysis
of sensitivity in the town of Campo Elba", in collaboration with
Dr. F. Grassi, published in Agricultural Papers Tutorials of
Agricultural Academy in Pesaro.
1997 – In November, He obtains the prize "Giovanni Grittani" for
the work of a young researcher for studies on agriculture and
land.
1998 – He gets the confirmation of the role of researcher by the
National Commission.
2005 – He's eligible for a role of university professor for the
scientific sector AGR/01 at the Faculty of Agriculture of the
University of Udine. Rector's Decree No. 1097 of 27/12/2005.
Research activities:
The course of the studies and research is an economic and
estimative information on land resource management and
environmental aspects;
theoretical andapplicative aspects of economic and financial
valuation models and multi-criteria are studied both micro and
macro-planning.
In particular:
i) Evaluation Models of natural and environmental resources.
ii) Affordability and local business analysis to join
agri-environmental EU programs.
iii) Market analysis and short chain productions: collaboration in
research projects aimed at deepening the ministerial economic
sustainability in Italy in view of the companies in the
agro-industrial complex. The areas of most interest, followed by
studies of the supply chain include:
- Seed sector
- Fruit and vegetable sector
- Biotechnology
- The fishing industry: fishing and aquaculture
iv) Bio-energy chains analysis: in the recent past, in relation to
the new EU targets on renewable energy sources are being
investigated some of the processes of transformation of
agro-livestock biomass source.
