PhD student at the University of Bologna since 2022, he conducts research in the field of logistics management and industrial plant design, with a focus on sustainable supply chains and efficient production systems. His scientific interests particularly concern the circular economy of lithium batteries, Industry 5.0, and urban-industrial energy symbiosis.

Education

Graduated in Management Engineering in 2019 from the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia with top marks, he is currently a PhD student in Automotive Engineering for Intelligent Mobility at the Department of Industrial Engineering, University of Bologna.

Academic Career

Since 2024, he has been a contract lecturer for the course “Logistics and Production Management” in the Bachelor's Degree Program in Management Engineering at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia.

Scientific Activity

He has published several articles in indexed journals and international conference proceedings on topics such as battery circular economy, energy transition, industrial symbiosis, blockchain technologies, and multi-objective decision-making models. He has been a speaker at international scientific conferences (INCOM, IWAR, ECMS).

Honors and Awards

He received the “Best Paper Award” at the Francesco Turco Summer School in 2023, the “Best Paper DIN” in 2024, and the “ISA Doctoral Prize” in 2025 for projects related to sustainable energy transition.
