Current position

  • Research fellow on the topic "Onboard technologies for attitude and orbital control of satellites in very low Earth orbit" at the University of Bologna, Department of Industrial Engineering.

  • Acting Grant Holder Manager at Fondazione Alma Mater for COST Actions CA23110 and CA24146.

  • Secondary school mathematics teacher (subject area A026 - Mathematics) on a fixed-term contract leading to permanent employment, winner of the PNRR2 national competition, at IIS Pascal-Comandini high school in Cesena, since 1 September 2025, currently on unpaid leave.

Previous positions at the University of Bologna

  • November 2025: occasional collaboration at CIRI Aerospace, Alma Mater Studiorum - University of Bologna, in support of the research activity titled "Preliminary analysis of the INNOVATOR mission, aimed at the in-orbit demonstration of an innovative InterSatellite Link Transceiver (ISL-T) capable of producing highly accurate range and relative velocity measurements between two objects in orbit".

  • August – September 2022: teaching tutor at the MUNER Summer School in Industrial Engineering for Advanced Automotive.
  • September 2021 - September 2022: teaching tutor for students with additional learning requirements (OFA), course on Calculus and Linear Algebra, Bachelor’s Degree Programme in Economics and Finance.

Prizes and awards

  • December 2021 - #T-TEC 2021 (€ 10,000 prize)

Member of the 1st classified team at #TeC 2021, the Open Innovation competition promoted by Leonardo and Telespazio with the proposal “Multi-Purpose Modular Satellite Servicer”: concept for an innovative microsatellite platform providing In Orbit Servicing.

  • November 2020 - Study award (€ 1,500 prize)

Recipient, for his year of study, of a study award by the Department of Industrial Engineering in recognition of exceptional academic achievement despite the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic during the second semester of the 2019/2020 academic year.

  • May 2017 - AlmaContest (€ 2,750 prize)

Member of the 1st classified team at “AlmaContest 2017” promoted by the University of Bologna, for the category “development of prototypes”, with the proposal “AlmaOrienteering”: an Android application to promote counselling of future students and to ease the search for information about courses, structures, and services.
