Alessandro Carrieri holds a PhD in Philosophy and conducts research in aesthetics and contemporary philosophy. His main interests include the relationships between aesthetic forms, urban space, mass culture, and critical theory, with particular attention to the thought of Siegfried Kracauer and Walter Benjamin. He has carried out research at the University of Turin and taught at the Universities of Milan and Cagliari. He is the author of three monographs, two of which were awarded the Parini-Chirio Prize, as well as numerous scholarly publications.
