Alessandro Calvio

I am a PhD student at the Department of Computer Science - Science and Engineering (DISI) of the University of Bologna, under the supervision of Professors Luca Foschini and Paolo Bellavista. My research activity is mainly focused on the study of distributed Digital Twin architectures within the cloud-continuum, with particular attention to vertical applications in the Smart City and Smart Transportation domains. Furthermore, I investigate the integration of modern communication technologies, such as 5G, to enable advanced Digital Twin scenarios.
