Alberto Triola

Alberto Triola is an experienced artistic director and performing arts manager with over 30 years in leading Italian theatres, festivals, and training programs. Among others, he was Superintendent and Artistic Director of the Arturo Toscanini Foundation (2018–2023), Artistic Director of the Festival della Valle d’Itria (2010–2021) and General Director of the Maggii Musicale Fiorentino (2013-2017).

He teaches performing arts management at the Universities of Bologna, Milan, and Verona, and regularly leads international workshops and competition juries. Triola began his career at Teatro alla Scala, later directing key institutions and founding the Scuola dell’Opera Italiana, mentoring young talents. As a director, he has staged acclaimed productions in Italy and abroad, including collaborations with the Dallas Symphony Orchestra.
