I’m a PhD researcher in medicinal chemistry at the University of Bologna, driven by curiosity and by the idea that chemistry can contribute to finding new ways to tackle disease. My path has taken me through different research environments in Italy and abroad, from studying pseudo-carbohydrate inhibitors at Leiden University to working on RNA-binding proteins at CEITEC in Brno, and now on targeted degradation strategies for rare neurodegenerative diseases.
For me, research and teaching naturally go together: learning, discovering, and then passing that knowledge on to others.
