Adjunct professor at the University of Bologna since 2022, he carries out his research in the field of strategic studies relating to national security. The research interests are aimed in particular at intelligence methodologies and techniques, at the prevention and fight against terrorism, at Psy Ops in the field of information warfare and at security in the cyber domain.
Education
Graduated in political science at the University of Bologna 110/110, he then obtained the title of the IASD course (advanced training and professionalization of military and civil leadership of the Defense and of the Guardia di Finanza Corps, of Officers of Allied Countries), at the Center for Higher Defense Studies; Civilian Aspects of Crisis Management course, certified at the European Security and Defense College; the II level Master's Degree in Global Strategy and Security, Suiss Turin (SUISS - Interdepartmental Special Educational Structure in Strategic Sciences - Application School of the Italian Army - University of Turin), 110/110 cum laude; the specialization course in intelligence and national security, CSSII, University of Florence.
Teaching activity
From 2006 to 2015 he continuously carried out teaching activities as holder of various courses at the faculty of sociology, department of communication sciences, humanistic and international studies: history, culture, language, literature, arts, media, Carlo Bo University of Urbino. 2015-2022 he held lectures on intelligence and national security at UNICAL, Link Campus University, SIOI, Lumsa, Unifi, Intelligence Analyst School of the Armed Forces)
