Alberto Marfoglia graduated with honors in Computer Science Engineering from the University of Bologna, Cesena Campus in 2020.
In 2020, he was awarded a research grant related to "Microservices models and architectures for the development of Healthcare applications based on HL7, FHIR, and REST standards."
He subsequently obtained a Master's degree in Computer Science Engineering from the same Alma Mater Studiorum, with a score of 110/110 cum laude, with a thesis entitled "Design and development of a digital model prototype to support healthcare interoperability."
Alberto Marfoglia was a Research Fellow working on "Development of the heal Italia reference architecture for the integration and processing of health data enabling precision medicine approaches."
Currently he is a PhD student in Computer Science and Engineering. His research interests converge at the intersection of Machine Learning, Digital Twins, and Semantic Web technologies, with a particular focus on their application in advancing healthcare digitalization.
