Teaching Assistant and PhD candidate at the University of Bologna since 2025, he conducts his research in the field of artificial intelligence. His current work focuses on the analysis and generation of X-ray fluorescence spectra, hybrid models combining classical techniques and black-box algorithms (deep neural networks), and their explainability, in collaboration with the National Institute for Astrophysics.
He graduated in Computer Science in 2022 from the University of Pisa and in Artificial Intelligence in 2025 from the University of Bologna, where he was awarded a PhD scholarship in the same year.
He carried out research activities in artificial intelligence (reinforcement learning applied to hybrid models of constraint programming) in the transition period between his degree and PhD, and has worked as a teaching assistant for courses in Fundamentals of Programming, Artificial Intelligence in Industry, and Deep Learning.
