Alberto Grassi

Specialist in Orthopedics and Traumatology at the Rizzoli Orthopedic Institute in Bologna. He obtained the National Scientific Qualification as Associate Professor (level II) in Diseases of the Locomotor Appar SC 06 / F4, SSD MED / 33. He mainly deals with ligament and knee prosthetic surgery and sports traumatology. These areas of interest concern both the clinical and research fields, which led to the production of over 80 scientific articles published in PubMed and to the presentation of reports at the main International Congresses of Orthopedics and Sport Traumatology. He collaborates with the Sahlgrenska University of Gothenburg and with the Aspetar Hospital (Qatar) in various research projects. He holds important roles within committees of the Italian Society of Knee Surgery, Arthroscopy, Sport, Cartilage and Orthopedic Technologies (SIGASCOT) and the European Society of Sports Traumatology, Knee Surgery and Arthroscopy (ESSKA).
