PERCEPTIONS policy recommendations and strategic guides aim at satisfying three
main purposes: a) to fulfil the informational needs of the above stakeholders; b) to positively influence
policy making through the provision of evidenced-based, up-to-date information and strategic
recommendations; and c) to engage with the community through the use of and engagement with
innovative hand-on-materials and impactful community best practices. Therefore, these policy
recommendations, and guides provide trusted sources built on the desk-based research and
literature review as well as empirical research and elaboration of findings and
