Dr. Afsaneh Nematpour is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Bologna, Department of Agricultural and Food Sciences. She holds a Ph.D. in Agronomy–Plant Physiology from Isfahan University of Technology, Iran. Her current research focuses on light management in Controlled Environment Agriculture, with emphasis on the effects of light spectrum, intensity, and photoperiod on growth, physiology, and secondary metabolism in vegetable, medicinal, and ornamental crops. Her expertise also includes nitrogen management, biostimulants, and plant physiological responses to abiotic stresses such as drought and salinity. She previously worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Teramo.
