Adebayo Ebenezer Obafemi

Adebayo is a PhD student in the department of Agri-Food Sciences and Technologies at the University of Bologna. He obtained his Master’s Degree in Plant Pathology from the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, Nigeria. Prior to joining the PhD program, he worked as a research assistant in the same department where he currently undertakes a PhD program. His current research activity is focused on finding solutions to prevailing kiwifruit vine decline syndrome, with particular attention to elucidating the role that root exudates play in microbial dysbiosis of the syndrome.
