Abbas Ghaderi was born in 1988 in Kurdistan, Iran. He received his B.SC. degree in Electrical Power Engineering in 2012 from K.N.Toosi University of Technology (Tehran, Iran) and M.Sc. Degree in Electrical Energy Engineering (with honors) in 2017 from University of Bologna (Bologna, Italy). He graduated with PhD in Biomedical, Electrical, and System Engineering (Electrical Curriculum) in 2020 from University of Bologna. During his PhD, he was focused on Design and Implementation of New Measurement Models and Procedures for Characterization and Diagnosis of Electrical Assets.
Currently he is a R&D Project Engineer at G&W Electric. His field of interest includes low power voltage and current sensor design for MV applications.
Moreover, he is part of IEC TC38/GW 47 focusing on Traveling Wave measurement, Supraharmonics measurement, and Metrological Stability analysis of LPITs.
