Andrea Mantovani is Associate Professor in Economics at the University of Bologna. He is currently on unpaid leave, as he joined Toulouse Business School in 2020. He is Associate Member of the Toulouse School of Economics, from where he obtained the Qualification to Supervise Research. He received both is M.A and PhD in Quantitative Economics from CORE, Université Catholique de Louvain.
His main research focuses on industrial economics, managerial economics, competition policy, game theory, economics of innovation, and environmental economics. He regularly teaches microeconomics, industrial economics, and international economics. He has published in top journals such as Journal of the European Economic Association, Management Science, Strategy Science, Games and Economic Behavior, European Economic Review, International Journal of Industrial Organization, Journal of Economics & Management Strategy, Journal of Economic Dynamics and Control, Resource and Energy Economics, Information Economics and Policy, among others. He has also written a book on the Economics of the European Integration.
