Dr Antonio Gioia graduated in Medicine and Surgery cum laude in 2009 at the University of Roma “Tor Vergata”.
He specialized in Anesthesiology at the University of Ferrara and received his Master in Pain Medicine at University of Parma.
Until 2021 he worked as Pain Physician and Anesthesiologist at “Santa Maria delle Croci” Hospital in Ravenna.
Since 2022 he works as Pain Physician at “Bellaria” Hospital in Bologna.
He is a member of the Methodological Support Group for Independent Research of AUSL Bologna.
He has been elected Regional Representative for Emilia-Romagna for the Italian Association of Study on Pain (AISD).
Dr Antonio Gioia main clinical and research interests are Chronic Pain and Neuromodulation treatments.
