Vincenzo Denicolò is Professor of Economics at the University of
Bologna. His main research interest currently is the economics of
innovation and intellectual property, but he works, more broadly,
on industrial organization and competition policy and maintains an
interest in social choice theory, in which he has also published
extensively in the past. He has been visiting fellow at Clare Hall
(Cambridge), visiting professor at the European University
Institute, the University of Paris II and the University of Berkeley, and Professor of Economics at the University of Leicester from 2010 to 2016. He served as co-editor of
the International Journal of Industrial Organization and
is now a co-editor of the Journal of Economics and Management Strategy. He is the head of PhD programme in Economics.
He is a CEPR research fellow, and was a member of the Economic Advisory Board for Competition Policy at the European Commission and a member of the Academic Panel of the Competition and Market Authority (UK).
