Short Bio

After the classical high school studies in Roma and the degree in Anthropology of the Ancient World at Pisa’s University in 2003, he obtained the PhD in Greek and Latin Philology in Bologna in 2007. Between 2008 and 2012 he was in Paris at the ANHIMA Center (2005, 2006, 2008), at the University of Lausanne (between 2009 and 2011) and at the Center for Hellenic Studies in Washington (2012). He was fellow at the Department of Classical and Italian Philology of the University of Bologna from 2014 to 2018. For a few months in 2013 and then on a permanent basis from 2018 to 2023 he taught Italian literature and Latin in the Classical, Scientific high school and in that of the Human Sciences in Budrio. His field of investigation is the context of archaic Greek poetry and the social groups of the archaic and classical era.
