Raffaele Bugiardini

Professor at the University of Bologna conducts its research in the field of Clinical Cardiology. His research is mainly focused on acute coronary syndromes, coronary vasospasm and microcirculation, non-obstructive coronary artery disease, plaque vulnerability, gender differences, quality of care and risk stratification. Engaged in research projects and international collaborations, he is author of numerous scientific publications, and book chapters and has received several awards and recognitions. He is recognised for the fourth consecutive time among World’s Top 2% Scientists List, an academic ranking created by Stanford University, Elsevier, and Scopus. The list identifies the top scholars in their own areas of specialty and whose publications are most frequently cited by other authors around the globe.
