Maurizio Brizzi

Born in Bologna (Italy) in 1961. Degree in Statistics and Demography in 1985. Assistant professor (1990), Associate professor (2001). Author of Teaching books, such as "Calcolo delle probabilità con note introduttive di inferenza statistica" (Editor: Lo Scarabeo) and "Introduzione alla probabilità e all'inferenza statistica" (Editor: Webster). Visiting professor at the Social Sciences Faculty of Lubiana (Slovenia) in 2002. Chief organizer of "YSM #9 - Young Statistician Meeting from Italy, Austria, Slovenia, Hungary and Croatia", held in Rimini (Italy) in 2004. Interested in probabilistic patterns of hazard games, author of a long chapter in "Giochi d'azzardo e probabilità" (Editori Riuniti). Official teacher of Statistics and probability (2012-2019) within the "Master in Quantitative Finance" organized by the University of Bologna. Official teacher of Statistics within the second-level degree in Legal Studies.
