Marco Bragadin is an Associate Professor of Building Production at the University of Bologna. He has been teaching at the University of Bologna since 1999 and he has been researcher and assistant professor at UNIBO from 2005 to 2020. He has carried out research in numerous areas of Building and Civil Engineering, especially focusing on Construction Management and Economics and Building Construction Technology, and BIM. Marco Bragadin has published over 70 papers both in Italian and English, including 3 books or monographs. Marco Bragadin holds a MSc in Civil Engineering (5 years professional degree) from the University of Bologna, a PhD in Construction Management and Economics from the Tampere University of Technology – Finland and is a Certified Cost Engineer (ICEC). Research Background and competencies

Eng. Marco Bragadin is an Associate Professor of Building Production at the University of Bologna. He has carried out research in numerous areas of Building and Civil Engineering, especially focusing on Construction Management and Economics and Building Technology.

Major interest areas are the following:

1. Construction Management. Three current lines of research:

1.1. Project Control KPIs;

1.2. Activity Networks and efficiency in construction projects;

1.3. Safety Management.

2. Building Sustainability and Life Cycle Cost / Life Cycle Assessment for construction

3. Building Information Modelling, BIM. 

4. Quality management of building design and construction processes, Fire Safety Engineering: Movement of People/evacuation timing.

5. Building production and technology
