Giacomo Calzolari

Professor Calzolari has moved to the European University Institute and is no more active at the University of Bologna.

Giacomo Calzolari (PhD Toulouse) is Professor of Economics and Research Fellow at the Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR). He has been conferred the Young Economist Award of the European Economic Association and the Best paper award by the Association of Competition Economics. He has published in top international journals such as American Economic Review, Rand Journal of Economics, International Economic Review and Journal of Economic Theory. He is co-editor of international journals and reviewer for most of the international academic journals in economics and several national science foundations. He is member of steering committee of the European Association of Industrial Economics (2016-) and the Association of Competition Economics (2016-).

Research interests: competition policy, economics of regulation, industrial organization, banking regulation and economics of incentives, artificial intelligence.
