- October 30, 1997: MS in Chemistry at the University of
Bologna. Graduation thesis: “Signal interpretation in quantitative
analysis with gravitational field-flow fractionation techniques and
UV-Vis detectors” Advisor: Prof. Pierluigi Reschiglian.
- April - November 1998: scholarship of the Lunds Tekniska
Högskola (funds for internationalization) at the Deparment of
Technical Analytical Chemistry (University of Lund, Sweden). The
research was included in the INCO-COPERNICUS European research
project "Development of rapid methods for assessing the quality of
starch particles from various cereal species for purposes of the
agricultural and food industry"
- December 2000: Specialization degree in Analytical
Methodologies. Specialization thesis: “Particle size and mass
distribution of cereal starch by field-flow fractionation (FFF) for
applications in agriculture and food industry.” Advisor: Prof.
Pierluigi Reschiglian.
- May 2004: PhD in Chemical Sciences. Final dissertation:
“Detection techniques for field-flow fractionation. Fundamental,
instrumental and methodological developments.”
- February 2004 - February 2006: Annual post-doc scholarships

“Separation techniques hyphenated with spectrophotometry and mass
spectrometry for the characterization of nano and microsystems.” at

Laboratory of Analytical Chemistry I and II, degree in
