Academic career
After a number of years (1995-2001) as adjunct professor at the University of Bologna and University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, and as lecturer (CEL 2001-2004) at the University of Milan, in 2005 A. D'Arcangelo becomes Tenured Lecturer at the former SSLMIT and of the former SITLEC Department, now Dept. of Interpreting and Translation, of the same university where she is Associate professor since 2015.
Teaching experience
1995-2004 she has been teaching English Language and Translation for the L/LIN 12 discipline at the University of Bologna, of Modena and Reggio Emilia and at the Univ. of Milano.
Since 2005 she is responsible of modules and courses both for the First Degree Programme and for the MA International Degree in Specialized Translation at the now School of Languages and Literatures, Translation and Interpreting of the university of Bologna.
Now responsible of the module Translation for Publishing for the MA Internazional Programme in Specialized Translation and of the module Translation from English into Italian I L1 for the First Degree Programme in Linguistic and Intercultural Mediation.
Research
She has been participaing to European Union research projects such as:
PICT (Promoting Intercultural Competence in Translators), progetto di ricerca LLP finanziato dalla Commissione europea (referente Dipt DIT 2011-2013).

Since 1993 up to date - I have been participating at National and International conferences and workshops with papers on Translation Studies (Literary and Multimedia/Theatre Translation) and on Intercultural Communication in TRanslation traingin.
Institutional activity
Since 2015 up to date - Coordinator of the MA Internazional Programme in Specialized Translation for the School of Languages, Literatures, Translation and Inteprting of the University of Bologna.
2007 - 2016: Responsible for the Permanent Workshop in Literary Translation at DIT, University of Bologna.
Since 2005 up to date - Rsponsabile of the Ersamus Exchange Programs for the Universita of Swansea and the University of Warwick (UK).
Since 2005 up to date - Member of the Internships commission of the School of Language and Literatures, Transaltiona and Interpreting, Forlì Campus.

Since 1993 – Collaboration as free-lance translator for publishing houses, companies and NGO associations.
