Roberta Bonfiglioli is Associate Professor of Occupational Medicine.
National Scientific Qualification, Full Professor of Occupational Medicine 06/M2 (from 3rd August 2017)
Degree in Medicine and Surgery cum laude in 1991, Postgraduate Specialty Diploma in Occupational Health in 1995.
Since 1998 staff physician at the Unit of Occupational Medicine, Sant’Orsola Malpighi University Hospital in Bologna, where she serve as occupational physician in the health care sector.
Research interests include:
Investigation of the etiological relations between occupational exposures to biomechanical risk factors and neurological and musculoskeletal disorders;
Focusing on the diagnosis and work disability of neurological and musculoskeletal disorders using traditional diagnostic techniques (ultrasound, EMG) and experimental ones (surface EMG);
Wearable technologies to monitor occupational safety and health;
Investigation of the etiological relations between occupational risk factors in health care setting (chemical, antineoplastic drugs, manual patient handling, ionizing radiation) and occupational disorders.
