Zia Uddin

Zia Uddin is a full-time PhD researcher in the Department of Industrial Engineering, pursuing a doctoral program in Automotive Engineering for Intelligent Mobility. He is a fellow of the prestigious European Marie Curie Skłodowska scholarship under the project "Laser4NetZero. His research focuses on laser material processing, specifically for battery cell production. His current PhD project involves laser-based manufacturing with an emphasis on beam shaping, thermal modeling using Flow-3D software, additive manufacturing, and laser welding
