Virginia Negri has been a Ph.D. student since 2022 and is enrolled in the 38th IBES PhD cycle (Biomedical, Electrical and Systems Engineering) within the Electrical Engineering curriculum at the Department of Electrical, Electronic, and Information Engineering “Guglielmo Marconi” (DEI), University of Bologna.
She received her B.Sc. in Computer Science Engineering and her M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Bologna in 2020 and 2022, respectively. Since November 2025, she has been a postdoctoral research fellow. Her research activities are in the field of electrical measurements, with a focus on the application of artificial intelligence in electrical power systems, AI-based measurement architectures, and the development of measurement and signal-processing algorithms on embedded platforms and microcontrollers.

Virginia Negri received the B.Sc. Degree in Computer Science Engineering and the M.Sc. Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Bologna, in 2020 and 2022 respectively.
