Brief
His research interests are focused on the design of embedded systems for environmental and structural monitoring, hardware and firmware design, prototyping, testing, diagnostics, power optimization, as well as signal processing, data fusion, algorithm implementation and optimization for edge computing in the context of multi-sensor data aggregation.
Work experience
May 2023 - November 2023: research fellow at DEI - Dipartimento di Ingegneria dell'Energia Elettrica e dell'Informazione "Guglielmo Marconi", Alma Mater Studiorum - University of Bologna.
Research project: "Intelligent sensor systems for precision agriculture", mainly focused on population estimation and activity monitoring of pollinating insects.
May 2022 - May 2023: research fellow at ARCES - Advanced Research Center on Electronic Systems “Ercole De Castro”, Alma Mater Studiorum - University of Bologna.
Research project: "Architecture and IoT devices for electricity pylons monitoring", in collaboration with Ducati Energia.
