Mirek Tobiáš Hošman is a PhD Candidate at the University of Bologna (International Relations) and at the Paris City University (Modern History). In his research, he focuses on the inner dynamics as drivers of change of the behavior and functioning of international organizations. His Ph.D. thesis analyzes the transformation and development of the World Bank as an intellectual actor since the mid-1960s. Other interests include international development, global governance and history of political and economic thought.
Before his doctorate in Bologna and Paris, Hošman participated in work and research stays in Estonia, Italy, Japan and the United States. He is currently a teaching assistant in the courses International History of Globalization and Economic History of Globalization at the University of Bologna. His latest publications include China’s NME status at the WTO: Analysis of the Debate (Journal of International Trade Law and Policy, 2021).
