Decades of experience in diagnostic and interventional Gastrointestinal Endoscopy
Since 1990 the work experience was conducted mainly in the field of hepatology in particular: i)
diagnosis and treatment of chronic liver diseases and liver cirrhosis complications of liver cirrhosis,
(ii) clinical management and follow-up of patients on the waiting list for transplantation liver, (iii)
management of patients undergoing liver transplantation, (iv) management of hepatology patients
undergoing bone marrow transplantation, heart and kidney transplantation.
Since 2007 she works as hepatologist in the Unit of General Surgery and Transplantation as
responsible for the management of patients waiting liver transplantation or during the
postoperative phase of liver transplantation. Form March 2014 is a Director of Operative Unit of
Internal Medicine aimed to treatment of severe organ insufficiency in particular toward patients with
liver failure.
