I am from Valencia, Spain. I studied at The University of Valencia and trained as a radiologist in Barcelona. I moved to New Zealand in 2008, and became a fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists.
I have worked as a consultant at Auckland Hospital since 2011, and hold appointments as a consultant at the Centre of Advanced MRI of the University of Auckland, Sonelle and Allevia Radiology.
My work focuses on musculoskeletal imaging, with a special research interest in metabolic bone disease and bone marrow imaging.
I am part of the education committee of the European Society of Skeletal Radiology, and of the e-learning subcommittee of the European Society of Radiology.
I currently serves as vice-chair of the Metabolic and Bone Disease subcommittee of the European Society of Skeletal Radiology and co-chair of the research and education committee of the International Skeletal Society. I am the associate editor for Metabolic Disorders at Skeletal Radiology.
