Jonathan Baker attended The Boston Conservatory of Music while in
High School and graduated from the University of Michigan with
concentrations in Music, Philosophy and Religion. He studied film
and television directing and acting at the University of
California, Los Angeles Extension Program. While in New York, he
worked on Wall Street at Solomon Brothers Asset Management in
Institutional Sales while financing and developing Off-Broadway
theatre. He moved to Broadway at The Nederlander Producing Company
of America and, in Los Angeles, he also worked as consultant for
Sony's International Television department. Jonathan Baker teaches
feature film and entertainment economics at Carnegie Mellon's
Master of Entertainment Industry Management Program. For the GIOCA
Program, he is currently teaching “Management of the film
industry”.
