Graduated bachelor's degree in Cartography and Geodesy from Baku State University in 2012, followed by a Master's degree in Geodesy in 2014. She also completed a Java Developer certification at STEP IT Academy in 2019. Since 2022, she has been pursuing a PhD in Agricultural, Environmental, and Food Science and Technology at the University of Bologna, Italy.
Her professional path spans several key institutions in Azerbaijan, with a focus on geospatial science and environmental applications. She has held positions at the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, the Ministry of Defense, and the Azerbaijan State Water Reserves Agency (formerly “Azersu OJSC”), where she worked on GIS development for water supply and sewerage infrastructure. In 2018, she joined the Ministry of Agriculture's Agro Research Center, where she currently serves as Deputy Head of the Data Analytics and Geographic Information Department and Head of the Geographic Information Division. Her work involves GIS-based agricultural mapping, remote sensing for plant monitoring, and the creation of digital land databases to support sustainable agriculture.
Scientific Activities
Hasanli is actively engaged in scientific research involving GIS and remote sensing applications for environmental and agricultural management. Her studies include hydrological mapping in Azerbaijan, the use of GIS to identify human-impacted areas for vegetation recovery, and modern geodetic methods in hydraulic infrastructure. She is also the Deputy Editor of the Journal of “Science and Innovative Technologies” and has participated in several international research initiatives and academic forums.
Teaching Activity
She has teaching experience from Baku State University, where she lectured on Cartography and Ecological Cartography from 2014 to 2015. Additionally, she has conducted training sessions on GIS and CAD technologies during her tenure at the Azerbaijan State Water Reserves Agency.
