Curriculum vitae

PhD Candidate in Agricultural Economics at the Department of Agricultural and Food Sciences. Focusing on behavioural economics to foster transition toward more sustainable and equitable food systems, especially in the field of prevention and reduction of Food Waste and Losses in canteens environments.

Current research focuses on True Cost Accounting (TCA) to monetize nutritional, environmental and social externalities related to the production of canned tuna. The final project's purpose is to inform transformative Business Models and Strategies, as well as policy and governance.

Previous relevant work experiences:

  • Research Fellow at the Department of Agricultural and Food Sciences - University of Bologna
  • Programme Manager at the European Commission's Directorate General for Agriculture and Rural Development (Italian CSP and Lombardia Region RDP)
  • Assistant in the Cabinet of former European Commissioner for Agriculture, Janusz Wojciechowski.

Education:

  • Master (II Livello) in Food Law at Roma Tre University
  • Master's Degree in Law, with final dissertation on Agricultural and Environmental Law at the University of Bologna.
