Curriculum vitae

Enrico M. Vitucci received the 'Laurea' M.Sc. degree in telecommunication engineering, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Bologna, Italy. He is currently an associate professor at Department of Electrical, Electronic and Information Engineering (DEI). Formerly, he was an assistant professor at DEI from 2017 until 2021, and Research Associate at the Center for Industrial Research on ICT (CIRI ICT) from 2011 until 2016. In 2007, he was an invited post-doctoral reasearcher at TKK-Helsinki University of Technology, now Aalto University, Finland. In 2016, he was a visiting researcher at Polaris Wireless, Inc., Mountain View, California (USA). He is author or co-author of about 100 publications on international journals and conferences. His research interests are in mobile radio propagation, ray tracing models, MIMO channel modelling, green ICT & ICT for green, solar radiation and energy efficiency in urban areas. He participated in the European Cooperation Actions COST 2100, COST IC1004, COST IRACON, and currently COST INTERACT, in the European Networks of Excellence NEWCOM and NEWCOM++, and in the EU Integrated Project ALPHA. He is a Senior Member of the IEEE, and a member of the Editorial Board of the journal "Wireless Communications and Mobile Computing". He also serves as TPC member and reviewer for a number of international conferences and journals including several IEEE Transactions.
