Diego Lanzi is Adjunct Professor of Economics at the University of Bologna. He
got his Ph.D. from Siena University in 2000, and his M.Phil. from Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona
the next year. He has published more than sixty books and articles worldwide, and tought more than
one hundred university courses. His reasearch interests include regulatory economics, choice theory,
the capability approach to welfare economics, network economics and the history of economic ideas.
