Work Experience:
07/2023 - 06/2024 Milton Keynes, UK
Calibration Student Placement Red Bull Powertrains
I worked in the calibration team for one year. Here I had the chance to deepen my
knowledge on engine calibration by working on a F1 Power-Unit. My main tasks
included:
• Developing tools to post-process data acquired during tests.
• Live-Data analysis of data acquired on the dyno test bed.
• Making calibration maps using data acquired from the dyno and the rigs.
• Creating and correlating models by using real data.
07/2024 – 10/2024 Maranello, Italy
Intern for thesis project Scuderia Ferrari
Development of a 0-D model to estimate the instantaneous torque delivered by the
internal combustion engine.
EDUCATION AND TRAINING
09/2018 – 07/2021 Genova, Italy
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering Università degli studi
di Genova
During the development of my bachelor's thesis I worked in my university's engine
componets test cell. There I acquired the necessary data to test the effectivness of an
experimental device in reducing the measurment error in the turbine outlet
temperature. This lead to a more accurate evaluation of the isentropic efficiency of
the turbine.
Final grade 104/110
Thesis Experimental analysis for the development of a device for the
evaluation of the isentropic efficiency of a turbocharging turbine for heavy-duty ICE
