EU-FORA is a hands-on experience in food safety risk assessment that foresees practical work in a hosting site and several training weeks led by EFSA over the 12 months. The programme aims to increase the pool of food safety risk assessment experts available in Europe and build a common EU culture for risk assessment.

• Environmental contaminants: aluminium, arsenic, cadmium, chromium, lead, nickel [ICP-MS]

The work has been published as a scientific report in the EFSA Journal.

I set up and carried out my own project aimed at producing hazelnut fillings suitable for chocolate pralines intended to be marketed in tropical countries.
I worked with different analytical techniques and instruments such as:

  • Rheology (determination of flow behaviour) Differential Scanning Calorimeter DSC (determination of melting behaviour)
