Esegue lezioni di traduzione attiva in laboratorio informatico attrezzato, con l’utilizzo di materiali aziendali-commerciali-giuridici autentici reperiti e/o prodotti dalla docente. I corsi con metodo CLIL riguardano temi specialistici come Introduction to the Language of Contract Law, Tort Law, Company Law, Commercial Law, Mediation and Arbitration, and Studying Law in the UK and the USA.

svolge docenza a contratto come titolare di vari insegnamenti nei Corsi di Laurea della Scuola di Economia – Università di Urbino Carlo Bo. Settore scientifico L-Lin/12. I corsi con metodo CLIL (Content and Language-Integrated Learning) si tengono sia presso la Sede di Urbino sia presso la Sede di FanoStudi. Le lezioni di Lingua inglese riguardano temi specialistici come l’economia, il commercio estero, gli studi aziendali, la finanza e management (livelli CEFR B1/B2/C1).
Attività professionale
E’ traduttrice free lance verso la lingua inglese (italiano-inglese), in particolare su testi in ambito economico-finanziario-aziendale. Traduce diversi leggi e per anni traduce una serie di Rapporti annuali in materia finanziaria per un ente bancario pubblico che necessita della versione in lingua inglese per obblighi internazionali.
Traduce testi accademici per docenti nell’ambito dell’economia, del settore aziendale, finanza e giuridico.
Traduce testi di natura scientifico nell’ambito del restauro d’arte, il restauro di reperti rinascimentali in ceramica e vetro, e saggi di archetettura, compreso il recupero di edifici storici.
Esegue correzioni di testi in lingua inglese per il packaging ed i materiali pubblicitari di aziende nel campo della moda internazionale, del settore agro- alimentari e della nautica.
Da gennaio 2023 è una Test Center Administrator per il TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) nella sede d’esame TOEFL presso l’Università degli Studi di Urbino Carlo Bo – Palazzo Battiferri, Urbino. Il TOEFL è gestito da ETS -Educational Testing Service, USA.
Dal 2006- gennaio 2022 è Centre Examinations Manager: IT037- responsabile del Centro Esami
Cambridge Assessment, English (University of Cambridge, UK) presso l’Università di Urbino Carlo Bo. Si è occupata dell’organizzazione e l’esecuzione delle versioni informatiche e cartacee delle prove per i candidati per la certificazione linguistica europea CEFR per la lingua inglese. Ha reclutato esaminatori orali e gestito le fasi delle prove per conto dell’ente certificatore. Dal 2016-2021 il Centro Esami Cambridge Assessment IT037 ha collaborato con la Sede di Pesaro dell’ente onlus IRIFOR/Unione Italiana Ciechi e Ipovedenti, per permettere agli iscritti di quest’associazione di accedere ad un centro preparato ad eseguire la certificazione linguistica europea nonostante la disabilità visiva.
Nel periodo 1991-1993 è dipendente di un’azienda di import-export nel campo delle apparecchiature mediche-diagnostiche, nella sezione commerciale ed il coordinamento dei trasporti esteri; ha rappresento la ditta per la clientela estera presso fiere commerciali in Europa e gli Stati uniti.

Since academic year 1995/1996 - she has worked as a Collaborator and Linguistic Expert (CEL) - English Language - at the University of Urbino Carlo Bo. She is a part-time (50%) permanent employee. She holds academic tutorials and seminars on the topics and specialist language of economics and business: English for Economics and Business , at the School of Economics. Bachelor's degree course and Master's degree course. CEFR B1/B2/C1 levels.
She is a cultore della materia/CEL, for the preparation and conducting of examinations for the Business English courses for the CdL, School of Economics.

Conducts active translation lessons in a well-equipped computer lab, using authentic business-commercial-legal materials that are self-procured and/or self-produced. Organises the lectures and the weekly assignments, corrects these, and prepares the mid-term and final written tests for the course. The mid-term and written examinations of the course take place in the same laboratories (DITlab) as the lessons.
Participates in final examination and degree committees. Supervisor of dissertations for the Three-year degree course and the SpecTra Master's degree course.

She has been an adjunct professor for various degree courses at the School of Economics - University of Urbino Carlo Bo. Scientific field L-Lin/12. These courses follow the CLIL (Content and Language-Integrated Learning) method were held both on the Urbino UniUrb campus and the FanoStudi UniUrb campus. English language lessons cover specialised topics such as economics, foreign trade, business studies, finance and management (CEFR B1/B2/C1 levels).
Professional activities
She is a free-lance translator into English (Italian-English), particularly on texts in the economic-financial-business field. She translated various laws and for a number of years translated a series of Central Bank Annual Reports on financial matters for an institution that required an English language version for international obligations.
Translates academic texts for professors in the fields of economics, business, finance and law.
Translates scientific texts in the field of art restoration, the restoration of Renaissance ceramic and glass artefacts, and essays on archeology, including the restoration of historic buildings.
Proofreads texts in English for packaging and advertising materials for companies in the international fashion, agri-food and nautical sectors.
Since January 2023 she has been a Test Centre Administrator for the TOEFL examination (Test of English as a Foreign Language) - the TOEFL center at the University of Urbino Carlo Bo - Palazzo Battiferri, Urbino. The TOEFL is administered by ETS -Educational Testing Service, USA.
From 2006- January 2022 she was the CEM - Centre Examinations Manager
Cambridge Assessment, English (University of Cambridge, UK) at the University of Urbino Carlo Bo. She was in charge of the organisation and execution of the computerised and paper versions of the tests for candidates for the CEFR European language certification for English. She recruited oral examiners and managed the stages of the tests on behalf of the certifying body. From 2016-2021, the Cambridge Assessment IT037 Examination Centre collaborated with the Pesaro branch of the non-profit organisation IRIFOR/Unione Italiana Ciechi e Ipovedenti, to enable members of this association to have access to a centre prepared to perform the European language certification despite being visually impaired.
Between 1991 and 1993, she was employed by an import-export company in the field of medical-diagnostic equipment, in the sales and after-sales section; additionally she and coordinated foreign shipping; she co-represented the company at trade fairs in Europe and the United States.
