The Univeristy fo Bologna hosted the 3rd workshop on seismic metamaterials, (the first one was in Iasi, Romania, 2015, http://fresnel.fr/nomanomaye/index.html; and the second one in Dakar, Senegal, 2016, http://www.fresnel.fr/metadakar2016/index.html). The focus of the workshop was both on Earthquake induced seismic motion and on anthropic generated vibrations.
